Everything is Tuberculosis is an important read for our times, but if I were to do it again, I would not recommend reading while one is recovering from a bad chest cold.

We did Thanksgiving with just the immediate family due to an aunt's heart attack, grandmother's health & my own family coming down with plague. Pulled dinner together for us... then sat in a chair in which the back gave out, I fell head over heels, and my butt is gonna be blue tomorrow...

Imagine spamming a 90s children's television programming personality as your hobby. Bet he was frustrated he couldn't find Ms. Frizzle's number.
I know most of the focus is on RFK Jr.'s weird horny texts, but the news that he used to spam Bill Nye with anti-vax weirdness and Bill was like, "Dude, you're you're confusing correlation for causation" is the only RFK text-message news I will ever need.

This article heavily implies that ICE is being used in a custody dispute to help Karoline Leavitt's brother get his son and have the mother locked up in ICE detention
"A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts."

Hot toddies remain an amazing chest cold remedy.

As someone who deeply loves many a gay southern weirdo (one who breathily sang Happy Birthday to me a la Marilyn Monroe recently), this is correct.
I have long posited that Daniel Craig's accent in Glass Onion is better than Knives Out because in Knives Out he is trying to do a real Southern accent and is bad at it but in Glass Onion he is just talking like Foghorn Leghorn, which is something a real gay Southern weirdo would do.

Staying up all night in an ER after three months of an insane working schedule has, unsurprisingly, led me to waking up with a chest cold on the day that my Thanksgiving rest was to begin. The only solution is hot toddies, crocheting, and books.

A third infant has died in Kentucky, KYDPH adds:

“These are Kentucky’s first pertussis deaths since 2018. None of the infants nor their mothers received the recommended pertussis vaccinations during pregnancy or early infancy.”

How is it that roles have reversed to where I am the one fussing at my aunt for having chest, arm, & jaw pain yet not telling me & driving herself to the hospital? Now I am waiting for updates because I think I should go down there but she doesn't want me to because she "doesn't want to bother me."

So, I'm really kind of fucking annoyed and disappointed with Mozilla enabling AI in Firefox by default and not giving users a simple opt out switch.

I have disabled it in my firefox via 'about:config' , if you want to too, here's how to disable it completely or enable certain bits you find useful

I fear I may be coming down with something - achy, feel like I'm going from cold to hot and back again. Ugh. No time for this.

That checks.
Clay Higgins was the only member of the House to vote against releasing the Epstein files.

His record also includes allegedly putting a gun to the head of one of his ex-wives, voting for a neo-Nazi, and assaulting an unarmed Black man while working as a cop.

In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.

"Do you recognize that sandwich?" is an all-timer cross-examination question.
November 4, 2025 at 3:58 PM
I love the smell of onions and mustard in the morning.
Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"I could smell the onions and mustard."
