What a year! Bluesky opened its doors just last February. Since then, we opened federation, launched video, rolled out trending topics, and a whole lot more.

Happy New Year, and here’s to a great year ahead! 🎉

Accessibility matters!
Color contrast is the difference in brightness between foreground and background colors. You can check your color contrasts with the WebAIM Color Contrast Checker to determine if people with low vision can tell the colors apart and see your content.

Made a custom Godot mesh type called NinePatchMesh, which lets you resize any 3D mesh as though it were a UI panel. Great for making 3D UI, picture frames, computer monitors, TVs, etc. You can find it here if you wanna use it:

REALLY good deal here, can confirm this worked.

I was paying for Illustrator only at $34/mo and this gave me all apps for less.

I had to click the little dropdown box and select "all apps" to see it. I outlined it in the screenshot.

A volume parallax decal shader with a twist, changing how I think about the calculated color and reinterpreting how that controls alpha blending it leads to some pretty variance and results. #techart #shaders #godot #gamedev

I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain

Life tip: you can insert USB cables correctly the first time most of the time by ensuring the USB symbol is facing up (or to the right if it's on its side).

From now until Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST, I will match contributions made to the Smart Barks pack, up to $800, out of pocket. If we reach the goal $1000(for a total of $1,800) we'll be able to afford a live speaker event in Summer 2025!
