It’s interesting how much the goalposts have moved now Spurs have reached the Europa final. Many commentators presumed we wouldn’t get past Frankfurt — now they’re ‘only 3rd in a mediocre Bundesliga.’ Bodo/Glimt were seen as giant killers before, now they’re just a plucky side Spurs SHOULD beat

We're running out of excuses. Last night we had players returning from injury, 8 days rest, almost a full squad, and we were a terrible. Uninspired, flat and bereft of ideas against a team that had played twice in the preceding week. I'm an Ange supporter but this performance is on him.

The Spurs board is making it known that it backs Ange. The best way of backing him is to bring in reinforcements. Three weeks into the window and it has only signed a goalkeeper. Looks like the support is half hearted at best.
