Though, having said that I would also add that up until the moment it becomes clear in my eyes what the issue is, I do tend towards the hope that the person before me is simply a rampaging dickhead in general.

The few times I've unequivocally been on the receiving end as a fairly pale mixed-race man with a reasonably neutral British accent, I find my empathy and curiosity around the perpetrator's motivations drops off a cliff.

Actually, as an Urbie owner, sure there's some negativity, but people cheer. I've had a LOT of expensive mechs, believe me. Nobody ever cheered.
