Here's the transcript. When I say ‘we had a convicted reality star’, you can add ‘who now rules as the most openly corrupt president in American history’ in your head.

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

It's absolutely disgusting what the New York Times, and particularly Azeen Ghorayshi, is doing with its coverage of autism. It's so deeply irresponsible.

It's the same playbook they ran on trans kids.

I think it is very fair to ask, and expect, the league and its teams not to fly with these carriers. You have sth who could not go to games this season because of the fear of deportation. Show an ounce of solidarity, I beg.

I am so damn proud of these students. Students are the only ones stepping in to say what needs to be said because staff, faculty and management are all cowards. This alone is a sold argument for why higher ed as it currently operates needs to end. 🇵🇸

Administrators & elected officials are not the ones filing the lawsuits against the Trump admin when our universities are under attack. Rather, faculty, students & staff are the ones defending higher ed.

In my undergraduate G/S/S class the past couple of weeks it has been heartbreaking to hear how the majority of the students know the institution will fail them, on purpose and out of reputational protection, if they report SA/SV. They know rape will go unpunished.
And, of course, this can only happen in a broader climate of neglect.

This is as much, if not more, an institutional as an individual problem. As an individual, you know your institution does not really want you to report (sexual) harassment, as they want to protect their reputation.
One of the giants of social psychology was a serial sexual harasser.

This new report reveals how Miles Hewstone touched, bullied, and sexual harassed numerous women during his 18 years at the University of Oxford. It's amazing how often bullying and sexual harassment go together in academia.
