Here’s the other thing: the reason 20 million people were able to access healthcare at affordable rates was the ACA. When it launched, people had rates that were ⅓ to ¼ what they had been previously offered. Now that it’s dying, people will pay 3 to 4 times as much.

@bsgma.bsky.social Great, because the law says the penalty is a fine. People also *may* be deported without a hearing but even that has limits. If you’ve been in the US for over 2 years you must have a hearing.
