I too, will not be listening to the podcast for precisely this reason. the BBC should already have done due diligence on the "does the co-host hold political views which reinforce prejudice and hatred" before deciding "Never mind that, whats the demographic reach"?

I have had transphobes trying to capsize my career for a good few years and I think they may well have had some success and more success on the way - but I would rather have spoken out for the trans community than had more success and kowtowed to the media status quo
