The snow has hit meaning tonight the fire is on, the living room is toasty warm, and the whisky will be coming out soon. I do love winter evenings.

When discussing the use of nuclear power, the argument "nuclear power is bullshit" was an interesting start. But finishing it off with anybody that disagrees with me should just be quiet pretty much sums them up. What a sad way to go through life.

Reeves raised the wrong taxes whilst she was also wrong for ignoring income tax, vat and employee NI.

I of course disagree, but I've never seen this particular argument being made, I can't imagine why 🤔

Whilst it's fantastic to see fossil fuels so low on our electricity mix, it's a reminder that even on a day ideal for renewables (at least in my area) we're still not able to produce enough power. There's a long way to go, but the steps being taken to boost renewables can't come soon enough.

Spring is upon us, the garden is starting to grow and I'm very happy to have our goldfinchs back. Beautiful little birds who just love our niger seed feeders.

They're great until you need to protect your trees. Our young fruit trees are now fenced and guarded against this one. Not that it stops him napping in the garden from time to time.

Seriously, this is the level of response/logic you get from the 'must bash labour at all costs' individuals 😂

The response....

I honestly don't know what to say to this sort of victim complex.

I agree they should renationalise the grid, we well as quite a few other things, but that wasn't the topic at hand tbh. Not to worry, have a good day. It's beautiful out.

When we lived in a city she refused to go out at night due to loud cars and fireworks. After 6 months living in the Scottish Highlands she's dragging me out as soon as I finish work. It makes me so happy to see her more relaxed.
