So Paradigm isn't even negotiating with AEW which is leading to lowered salaries for the talent they represent. If I was a client of this company I would fire them right now and call up Barry Bloom

This is a great thread. Those wilderness years of Sin Cara and Myzteziz were a bit sad (sometimes funny tbh), amazing that he got back to being The Man.
Watching that Mistico entrance again, it really hits me just how it's remarkable that we wound up here. This guy was THE star in lucha libre in the 2000s, arguably bigger in Mexico than any top star was in the US, and he lost everything, and I mean everything, when he left for that WWE run.

Little bit little, year by year, he worked his way back. Frankly, he WILLED his way back. And he took CMLL along with him; it's no coincidence that the promotion is hotter than it's been in a long time because he's back to being the guy he was in the mid-2000's.

Specific lines aside, what sticks out to me Re: The Roast of WrestleMania is how little it resembled an actual roast. Any "what'd you expect from a roast, you pussy?" arguments are negated by the targets of most of the ugliest cracks being about people who weren't there, much less working for WWE.
