The rules apply to any non-EU citizens not covered by free movement law, not just British citizens. All these possible penalties for overstay already exist.

Brexity folks are allowed to worship British border controls; but the EU is not supposed to enforce theirs against Brits.
People breaking immigration law can be deported. EVEN IF THEY'RE BRITISH.

Saturday lunchtime, in Ostuni.

Tradition is not only reassuring, but deliciously and deeply comforting now that we’ve moved from summer to not-summer in Puglia.

Check restaurant opening times. With the change of season, some now operate restricted services (eg lunch weekends only).

The Song of the Siren.

Orpheus saves the Argonauts from the deadly song of the Sirens. By playing his lyre so beautifully, his music drowns out their voices, allowing the ship to sail safely past their island.

I was harassed overnight on here. The first time anywhere online. It’s unpleasant. I won’t name the people - one posting endlessly, one liking each post - but have reported the instigator. If we can’t politely disagree without being viciously accused of being a fake account, what is Bluesky for?

The media across the spectrum did a bad job of context last weekend, by reporting aspirations of a massive wave of protests as a fact.

The earlier prediction that the injunction to empty the hotel would see protests grow proved wrong.

Exactly what I'm talking about. Starmer should be hanging Farage out to dry, telling him the delays and checks are down to his Brexit.
Go after Farage. Let him defend Britons being exposed to EES and Etias.
