What has Bill Maher been smoking? On a recent show, he’s called out the likes of AOC, Kamala Harris, Mamdani, even the Clintons for avoiding his show out of fear. But then he imagines AOC setting aside her own fear of appearing if given the chance to submit to a bit of Maher “deprogramming”? Really?

Douthat has taken all of ten paragraphs to tell us “what the movies need from Sydney Sweeney,” when about all he had in mind is that “people still like the idea of a star who appears in actual movies,” and don’t want AI-generated Tilly Norwood types clogging. up screens at the neighborhood cineplex.

Today’s emails might not contain the stuff Trump is most anxious to keep from public view but they certainly whet the appetite for daily postings of just this sort of material.
To be clear, it’s because the emails we are seeing now don’t even contain the material Trump is so desperately trying to block.
I thought it was bullshit before but these files are so much worse than I imagined.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s having trouble dealing with the $40 billion bailout for Argentina. Told Tucker Carlson it’s one of the “grossest things” she’s ever seen. Hadn’t realized she’s led so sheltered a life to this point.

It’s very early in the month but already Joe Scarborough looks like he’s going to have a really good shot at winning September’s Vidkun Quisling Award.
joe scarborough is such a joke. and ive been saying this for almost two decades now. i tried to make it clear to liberals that his so-called conversion was bullshit, but you all insist in believing in fairy tales. www.mediaite.com/media/news/d...
Joe Scarborough: JB Pritzker Should Join Trump to Stop Crime
Joe Scarborough, on Tuesday, floated an idea he billed as "radical" — calling on Gov. JB Pritzker to "partner up" with Trump to stop violent crime in Chicago.

Rubio wants Newsom to apologize to Trump. Doesn’t mind, apparently, that Trump never fails to refer to him as Newscum. This is the same Rubio who wanted Zelenskyy to apologize for “becoming antagonistic” during that Oval Office smackdown back in February.

Missed in most reports covering this encounter is that Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), largely off-screen (though just to Trump’s right), was on hand to gang up on Powell. However, he proved no more effective than Trump in charging Powell with the made-up cost overruns.
NEW: A remarkable moment just now between Trump & Powell.

Powell refuses to stand there compliantly while Trump tries to claim they’re adding an extra new building to the project.

Could this be what you might call “the concept of a method”?
PSA: there are not “methods” for Donald Trump to serve a third term and anyone who tells you otherwise is a motherfucking idiot.

A while back, during the campaign, there was the “concept of a plan” moment. That got a good deal of attention. But, “the concept of Greenland”? This takes conceptualizing to a whole new level.
Q: "Why is Usha Vance going to Greenland?"
Trump: "She’s a brilliant woman. She's a very nice woman. And she loves the concept of Greenland. So she's going there."
What an utter buffoon. Ladies and gentlemen, this is your president.

Trump’s ranting and raving again about Canada becoming the 51st state. Keep it up! With a population of 40 million people, our new state would have to get 54 electoral votes, the same as California (as its population stands at 40 million as well). Good luck, GOP, with getting any of those 54 votes.

Roger Marshall’s notorious town hall took place in Oakley, Kansas, county seat of Logan County. Last November, Trump carried Logan County with 84.7% of the vote. Harris got 13.1%. So, it would have required a whole lot of “paid operatives” to create that much “turmoil” at a venue as red as this one.
Republican U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall has blamed the turmoil that erupted at a recent town hall meeting in rural Kansas on “paid Democratic operatives.”

But the people who attended the meeting say they are just concerned Kansans who wanted their senator to hear their concerns.

According to Marshall many of the town hall attendees you see here are agitators from out of town. And how would he know this? He saw or more likely was told that the parking lot was full of the sort of luxury vehicles that area farmers wouldn’t drive but that liberal-type suburban troublemakers do.
Senator Roger Marshall from Kansas cutting his town-hall short and running away while being booed by his constituents.
March 7, 2025 at 1:53 AM
Sen. Roger Marshall (R) wants you to know that “paid agitators” are taking the place of the “outside agitators” of yore. Not only do today’s agitators get paid (no doubt by lefties), but they’re also better at hiding how “outsider” they are as they descend on rural town halls from liberal suburbia.

For that matter, how does one forget fire-starter Trump’s role in vilifying the Central Park Five? His role in that case should have ended any political aspirations he might have entertained.
With all seriousness, how does one manage to ignore and/or forget "trump mocks disabled people", or "trump hates veterans", or even just the whole "grab them by the p**sy" ordeal?

The man's been a known bully since before 2016, and that's BEFORE we found out he's a bigger sex pest than we thought.

Vance’s piping up was the “escalation,” which tag-team partner Trump was quick to latch onto, escalating things further.
