There's so much stuff to do after a person passes away. I can't imagine the problems I'd have if I wasn't savvy with computers and didn't know where to find things like stored passwords, and manage all the 2FA...

I think my whole love life has involved me trying to convince people to relax their assessment criteria.

Getting ready to do a group training assessment over Zoom.

One of the group is an ethnic boomer engineer with a lisp and a firm grasp of technology no newer than the 90s. Another is a pretentious art gallery curator who handed out leaflets to their exhibition.

This is going to go off the rails.

This is one of my saddest but truest cartoons.
And in a moment where the world feels painfully divided, some still say calling out division creates more of it.
But silence never helped the people already hurting.
Let’s be brave enough to see it, name it, speak it, and work to heal it.

I witness a man coming downhill from a very steep shrine, pushing an empty stroller, and I wonder.

At Hiroshima. Some Americans:

"We did watch that movie. About that man, who invented the bomb."

"Oppenheimer. I didn't make ten minutes through that."

"Well, we're going to have to watch it again. I don't buy that he didn't know what it did. I bet he did know."

"I wonder why he still did it."

"Now, I've got the fantastic book downstairs that I think you ought to read," said the uncle. "It's terrific. Have you read Elon Musk's biography?"

"Oh no," I thought.

I don't know why I'm like this, but I dislike being ready to leave for work a half hour before I need to... because to me, it feels like half an hour is NO time.

When I was young, it was time to watch an episode of something I enjoyed before going to school. Now, I just anxiously check the time.

Now I've got to get on with it for a week before I get sent back up to Brisbane.

I'm pretty worn out. My heart is tired. It'll get better but I'm just tired out.

I don't feel like I have the energy to do much more than just exist, socially.

It's really hard to muster up much to say, let alone more.

Father's Day adverts getting pushed to Dad's phone is rough.

This is my last gift to Dad, which will accompany him on his way. I have carried it with me since my trip to Japan.

It is a blessing for safe travels.
