getting deeper into voice training. the main trick, so far, that's made it easier for me: e-ify your vowels. E is the "brightest" vowel, so if you can roll your ee projections so they pick up the beginning of the next vowel in the word, that vowel will sound higher-pitched --

i can count on one hand the number of times I've had nightmares in my life up to this point, but the one i just woke up from was the worst one ever. my abuser was there and i couldn't get away or fight back, in an unfamiliar setting. just awful. 😭😭😭

found out today that i have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease! yay fun. to lessen its effects (too-high enzyme production), i just need to continue eating well and (get back into) working out. so i'll probably turn out slim and sexy just in time for my ... 50s? better late than never i guess
