Thinking about 9/11 today. Our newly-built school got its outdoor flagpole installed in 2002, so I arranged for an official flag-raising ceremony to take place on 9-11-2002. A band from the Balsams Hotel played music, local Scout troop assisted VFW members in raising the flag. 1/
