i think its understandable why artists can churn out personal art quicker than comms sometimes, I mean if I get my own characters details wrong or its a bit inconsistent, its not gonna hurt anyone, but for a paid piece of work uh YEAH, there's real stakes in it now!

Hey. Its valid as a freelance artist to care about ur social media reach but u dont have to treat it so seriously that every art u make needs to get 50k likes… one of the best parts of art is being experimental and when ur only chasing likes u cant really experiment

Yo, baby girl (or guy or whatever you are) it's okay if you experience burnout to the point that you can't draw for a while. You don't owe the world your art or nothin'. If you force yourself to try harder, you're gonna be miserable. Take the break and take it easy on yourself.

Feeling... rough. Lately.

Cait holds her head in her hands, overwhelmed by pinging alerts Panel 1: "But I can't think that way. ...not every day, at least..." Cait balls her fists, grimacing with tears on her face Panel 2: "I love what I do. And I work in entertainment - providing beauty and escapism for my audience." She puts her glasses back on and picks up her tablet pen, sniffling Panel 1: "We need art in turbulent times. People need escape from the horrors. And if I can provide that - then I'm being helpful."
