RealityKit has LOD for textures, but not geometry. One could do it manually by measuring distance between camera and object, but it could get complicated if the entity is animated or reacting to physics.

I took a break after an update that nerfed a lot of weapons, but looks like there is some new content so will hop back in.

Also, if you like 40K games there’s an FPS called Hired Gun which is enjoyable and on sale!

Ha! I know that street. And yes the first few times were odd, but I hardly think about it now. Sitting in the back seats you get to see the tracking monitor and how the car is visualizing, or rather presenting to you, what it “sees”.

I was interning at a little company called Itron. My managers let me tag along as they tried to figure out how to use Java for meter UI apps (in conjunction with Itron’s remote utility consumption meters installed on houses).

Absolutely! Beta 2.2 fixed a bug where pure white flipped to black when a certain spot in a texture was foveated.
