yessssss i love this comparison because i think it explores both power and how they wield it and legacy (hello, themes of the show at large). Aniseya is willing to sacrifice her legacy for her child's happiness and Vernestra prioritizes legacy. a difference, though, is that Vernestra is not
Even though these two women hold similar roles in their organizations, it’s Mother Aniseya who puts family first. Vernestra on the other hand would do anything in her quest to preserve the Jedi and their position in the galaxy, even if it means sacrificing those she cares about for the cause.
