My son was *born* with an incurable skin cancer syndrome (NBCCS), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, autism, vision impairment, cognitive impairment, ++.
ALL chronic!
He’s now 24yo, his 42nd surgery on the horizon.
He’s dependent on his Medicaid waiver for which we waited 11yrs.
The NIH is in our contacts ffs.
He also claims the NIH has no programs looking into chronic disease. Not true.

According to a Nixon-era law & SCOTUS case, presidents can’t hold back congressionally allocated funds because they disagree with a project. But that’s what Donald Trump is trying to do & the real question is whether this SCOTUS will let him get away with it. joycevance.substack.com/p/impoundment

As someone else pointed out this is the exact same trick Elon played at his companies. It’s not a “buyout.” The money has not been authorized by Congress. They are playing games. Don’t fall for this bullshit.

This is grossly irresponsible reporting by the AP. What’s being offered is not a buyout. The deal is if you agree to resign in September you can continue working remotely until then. There is no buyout or severance.
