22 year old incel kid with zero experience of anything is in charge of preparing a vast country of 320 million people for attacks by another country that his incontinent, low-IQ president just arbitrarily bombed.

We will be properly honouring ‘Daniel Hannan Day’ on Tuesday with all the requisite pomp, circumstance & documentary evidence of what an irredeemable arse he is that you would expect. Elevating our world’s wrongest man to the House of Lords will always be the essence of Brexit.
Do join us…
24 June 2025 is this Tuesday coming.
There's still time.
Don't stop Beleaving.

Unlike the Mr Bates Post Office drama I never saw, the Grenfell documentary is on Netflix. Absolutely harrowing and very well done; really drove home how preventable it was but... nobody is responsible. So many people should be in prison like the Pickles creature. heartbreaking for the victims 💔💔

If the Tories are going to talk about surrender, they should use it properly. You surrendered Eu membership, access to the richest market, ability to be a rule maker, screwed the economy because surrendered to populist racist economic illiteracy #radio4

Venomous: it bites you, you die.

Morning @mrjamesob.bsky.social I know you plan the topics days in advance 🤭 But listening to the news and dense-as-Leadsom winning in Lincolnshire… Phone in on what reform voters actually want and expect versus protest vote would be so interesting. Esp as Brexit reaaally delivered… bonne journée!

Maybe for all these years the emphasis should not have been “you’d be speaking German if it weren’t for USA!” but rather “without courageous interventionism in the name of freedom and universality you’d be under fascist rule”.
Maybe the political system was more important than the language…

I have more admiration for the people who feel they don’t have a choice when it comes to FIGHTING fascism rather than appease like the young résistants who were shot in ww2 like Guy Moquet. They are on the right side of history, Starmer is wet and favouring Ming vase over civilisation @lbc.co.uk

EU seen as all powerful, it even determines shape of bananas.
The (wrong)concern was people would be drafted and sent to war:
“Why should my kid be forced to fight with the Germans (Krauts!!) to protect (some shithole i’ve never heard of)??”
Army=ultimate sovereignty

Hi @mrjamesob.bsky.social. It’s been a while since the “Paris suburb school meal” conversation but you might find this interesting (after translation software). Double page in local paper about new, better, lower-waste & higher quality school lunches. They’re going from 5 courses to 4 !

William Boyd‘s A Good Man in Africa was the first grown-up book I read, aged about 13, on holiday because that’s all there was. Have read it dozens of times since, still makes me laugh and cry and cringe. To hear Boyd wrote it in seven weeks at age 28 is mind blowing. #radio4

I have a newish robo-hoover thing that scoots around the living room and downstairs. It’s actually not that great: not terribly effective and easily gets stuck in corners where it just mindlessly repeats the same complaint in a rather robotic and clipped voice.
I’ve named it Kemi.
