Does anyone know of a filmmaker/documentarian/director/producer/studio that might be interested in making a documentary on the movement to end suffering and death in nature? Have them reach out to me at herbivorize@outlook.com

If I were the victim of predation, I would consider it evil and want it abolished. So, I also think predation is evil and should be abolished when someone else is the victim.

Obviously animals prefer to not be hunted and killed. Predation abolition is likely the only practical way of respecting those preferences.

IMO the predation debate is almost 100% about scientific, practical feasibility. If you could snap your fingers to make the world predation-free and yet with stable, diverse ecosystems you would have to be psychopathic not to do it.

We could set up paradise engineering stations in a grid pattern across the globe to optimize and then maintain optimal wild animal welfare.

Use your empathy, try to put yourself in the zebra’s place, and it will be easy to understand why we need to abolish predation.

Antipredationism is not new and can be found in art, literature, philosophy, and religion from ancient times to now (I saw this at a vintage shop the other day)

There is a lot of speciesist hypocrisy when it comes to wild animals. I never hear anyone justify humans being eaten alive because it is natural and part of the circle of life.

Eat or be eaten. This is nature’s law. The natural world is not a benign place for animals but more like a battlefield from which they can’t escape.

The world cannot be considered peaceful as long as this horror show continues.

Predation isn’t a law of nature. There’s no reason to believe it cannot be replaced by some other way of controlling herbivore populations.

Everything that made EA influential and productive was its radicalism and subculturalism. Vegan poly kids in collective houses experimenting with radical honesty and wacky texts about abolishing wild animal predation. The result of them running to the center to ditch Luigi will be irrelevance.
anyway lol @ the notion of an EA being like "we must moderate our stances to reach a broader public!"

Herbivorization is common in nature: all land vertebrate herbivores evolved from carnivorous ancestors. Why not use tools of biotech to expand and accelerate that natural process?

It’s such a privileged position far away from being a victim of predation from which some philosophers and scientists claim predation is not an urgent moral problem.
