I don’t know how you do that and not interfere with interstate commerce.

The memo specifically states Coastal Commission doesn’t like RPPs because they reduce coastal access.

Well parking is equity, according to the Coastal Commission, because poor people have no choice but to drive to the coast, and can't park a few miles inland and take a bus or train there.

Developments still have to comply with the Coastal Act and the Local Coastal Plan, which is where the CCC inserts itself.

I remember about 30 years ago, when I went on an elementary school field trip, you could basically fill a freezer with grunion from the take season, both from your own take and the take of others who didn't want the fish.

The unique nature is AIPAC is one of a few lobbies (crypto is another) that will advertise on unrelated issues to kneecap politicians they don't like. NRA messaging is usually straight up on gun rights, not stuff like health care.

Everyone should be primaried all the time, it helps the incumbents sharpen their political skills. That doesn't mean I have to automatically support any challenger, much less give them money, though.

White men are probably the largest demographic group not in education, employment, or training, although Black men are probably the highest percentage.

If you have a pet issue though, they may have entrenched views. The Pomona Valley Democratic Club leadership was appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission, for instance.

The other thing is running for Central Committee for your assembly district.
