I saw a Reddit post about a person sending thank you notes to congresspeople who support legislation benefiting National Parks.
I love it and intend to do more of that because, if I were a legislator, such positivity would be a far more powerful motivator than the usual barrage of criticism.

I can’t help but feel that the fires in LA will displace a lot of people in the way that hurricane Katrina did. I think the a lot of people that lost their homes in LA have probably move out of state.
