At a personal level two things are true at the same time

Criminalization has intended effect of deterrence - the process is the punishment - and going through legal system is always painful & draining.

And its also true that solidarity is stronger than fear, and in this time its all we have.

Billions of people around the world want an immediate end to Israel's genocide of Palestinians. Unfortunately we have lacked power to impose our will upon the US and Israeli regimes. It is not that people don't care. It's that we haven't built the power we need as of yet.

We inhabit a world where Bob Vylan can't visit the United States, but Netanyahu was invited to speak to Congress. There really is no excuse for this.
