This 👇.

And while we're at it, let's stop referring to the Coalition as "the Opposition".

The only real opposition to the
centrist-rightist
big corporate donor-sponsored
US sycophantic
military-industrial fan club
establishment alliance of Labor and LNP

is The Greens and progressive independents.
We should re-conceptualise what "bipartisan support" means in Australia. It does not mean "sensible compromise reaching across the political aisle", if it ever did. Today, it typically means "the establishment has united to fuck the rest of us".

The F-35 in it's entirety is lethal.
You supply ANY parts for it, you are supplying lethal parts.
I once had a lot of respect for you @senatorwong.bsky.social but you have shown yourself to be just another slimy, weasel wording, self serving poli. You would have been at home in a Morrison cabinet.

My sense is the govt will set a 55% cut target by 2035. Why? Because that means they just extend the 47% cut by 2030 trend.

Alas, it is nowhere near the minimum of what the science says is needed.

So remember: 55% by 2035 is NOT more ambitious

Hey @albomp.bsky.social -
I don't recall you going to the last election with ANY discussion of Australia's strategic defence priorities - apart from suggesting we should shut up and trust #AUKUS.

You do not have a 'mandate' to make us a nuclear target. #auspol
The Labor government is actively drawing Australia into a future US war with China. No one voted for this. Parliament has not debated this.

AUKUS doesn’t keep us safe, it drags us into US wars. We are not a US partner, we are a US patsy and a US base. End AUKUS.

Given Labor's climate-change assertions, its approval extension of the most climate destroying fossil project in Australia is shocking.
