He’s only 27. He should be working, studying, building a life. Instead he’s spent the last 3 years living in squalor & poverty and reporting to the home office once a week. Did I mention that he speaks five languages and has a law degree? Where’s his dignity? Why aren’t we making use of his skills?

All of that is absolutely fair enough. I haven’t read much, if any, of his later/recent novels, and when someone’s as prolific as he is, a good number of his books are bound to be guff. It’s the earlier stuff that I’m attached to.

I’m intrigued by the yes and no. 😂 IT was the first King book I ever read when I was far too young to be reading anything of the sort, so I’ve got a huge soft spot for it. Derry feels like a real place to me.

Agree, 100%. Are you a Stephen King fan? I’m not sure how much it would appeal to people who aren’t familiar with his worldbuilding, but hearing names like Kersh and Bowers had me like this
