If you tax the rich who don't pay taxes then they'll move and then you won't be able to tax them for the money they aren't paying anyway.

When is trans day of joy? Trans day of just chilling with the girlies? Trans day of look at all the dope shit trans people have done historically and in the present day?

If you ever want an example of why capitalism is bullshit, look no further than the housing crisis.

Like, are houses a rare commodity? Did the house crops fail and now there's a shortage? Are we experiencing a house famine?

No, some rich fucks keep buying them all up and inflating prices.

Every now and again I think of this case and get really fucking mad.

I was gonna say 'unreasonably' mad, but no. No I don't think that word applies here.

"Sometimes the curtains are just blue"

Okay but if you're describing the curtains without that meaning anything, either in terms of plot, themes, or emotions, then that sounds to me you're padding your word count for whatever reason.

You ever open a 'New Post' window, go to the bathroom, and then come back not only having forgotten what you were gonna post about, but that you were planning on posting anything at all?

"The problem with social media is that it becomes harder to talk about Israel without acknowledging their obscene, monstrous, and very much ongoing crimes against humanity."

I guess the lessons we should have learned from the holocaust is that holocaust is when people are mean to Jews? Apparently?
I'm struck by this clip of former Obama speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz saying Holocaust education has backfired in part because people Palestinians as victims: "They think the lesson of the Holocaust is…you fight the big powerful people hurting the weak people."

Nothing is a better demonstration of the anti-scientific nature of banning trans women from sports than the fact that the IOC's OWN STUDY found no evidence trans women have any advantage over cis women in sports, but they're planning on going ahead with banning us anyways

This is something of a controversial hot take but I really like Braham's character arc in GW2. Dude's barely an adult, doing his best, making mistakes, and learning from it. It's good shit.

One of the more... telling? Parts of discussion around A:tLA is that apparently we all think a twelve-year-old child is selfish and unreasonable for not wanting to

you know

murder a guy.

Like, greater good or not, I'm not sure *I* would be okay with killing Ozai and I'm not a cultural pacifist.

lmao, 39 new blocks since I made that Clair Obscure post.

Or something, I dunno. At least it's quiet now.

I think my peak aesthetic was long skirt, corset, and blazer, but sadly weight gain made most of my wardrobe obsolete. I should get back to that ideal.

By expanding my wardrobe again because I cannot be fucked to go on weightloss regime for any reason other than maybe health.
Maybe.

God I hate it when people engage in no-true-scotsmanisms.
"Those bigots aren't *real* fans!"
Yes, they are. And your insistence to not be associated with them over actually limiting the harm they cause tells me you care more about your image and not feeling like 'one of the bad ones'.

Having a 'fantasy series subtitle' naming scheme that goes 'X of Y' is all well and good, but if you do you have to consistently stick with it.

GW2's major expansions all had the 'X of Y' scheme (Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, etc), EXCEPT for Janthir Wilds, and it fucks me up.
