Proud of our statement on protecting Jewish safety & democratic values. Similarly, I’m deeply concerned by the deportation & imprisonment of Armando Abrego Garcia. The govt said in court that he was deported due to an administrative error but is stonewalling his return to the U.S. & his family. 1/2
We’ve joined with a broad coalition of organizations representing mainstream American Jewry to make clear: our community’s real concerns about antisemitism should not be used to undermine democratic norms and institutions. https://brnw.ch/21wS0Nh

We are proud to have joined 87 Jewish organizations in opposing mass deportations, detention camps, and raids. Our history and values make immigration a personal issue. A democracy that isn’t safe for all isn’t safe for Jews.
We are proud to have helped bring together over 85 Jewish organizations — representing millions of diverse American Jews across the country — to oppose the Administration’s plans to launch mass deportations, build massive detention camps, and conduct sweeping raids.

The federal funding freeze imposed by the Trump administration will have devastating impacts on people nationwide. Government funding for synagogue security, health care, hunger, education, environmental efforts and much more has all been cut off. This is shameful and must be permanently reversed.

The plan was always to flood the zone with shit.

Not everyone can respond to every outrage. That's on purpose. But no need to get mad at someone for focusing on stuff *you* don't think is important. Let everyone focus on what they want to focus on.

A slang term for supposed mental damage done by overconsumption of trivial online content triumphed over a shortlist that also included “lore,” “demure” and “slop.”
