What sort of political party is it that throws everything they have at a convicted pedophile to protect other pedophiles in the face of such damning evidence?

THAT's their party platform?!?

@shaneisland.bsky.social: Seriously, y'all are going to have to come up with the "Seriously?" version of "Pinocchios."

The president's accelerating cognitive unraveling, laid bare in his incoherent ramblings, makes his frantic suppression of Epstein documents not just corrupt but desperately dangerous.
Quit "sane-washing" Donald Trump

Worth a read if you're looking to to better understand what was going through King's head vis-a-vis his shutdown vote.

And uniformly the men he was connected to either knew he was a pedophile and didn’t care, or were committing crimes themselves. Most made jokes about Epstein and the girls he was raping.

It is so deep and so wide a network of trafficking, criminal corruption and influence that it is sickening.

But seriously, people in prison should not be limited as to how much toilet paper they get. Not only is it inhumane, it's unhygienic.
Free* at Fight the Fire:

"Ghislaine Maxwell, the Beavis to Jeffrey Epstein’s Butt-head, gets an unlimited supply of toilet paper at her posh new prison in Texas." She and others need to be rolled out for more questioning about Trump and Epstein.

Roll on, Ghislaine, roll on
We need to hear more from prison toilet paper queen - and others in Epstein-Trump orbit

Not good odds for old 47, are they?
There are four leaks to plug for Trump: the survivors, Ghislaine Maxwell, the Epstein Estate, and the 1000+ FBI and DoJ employees he locked in a building and forced to remove his name from the files.

Good luck, asshole.

So why is @cnn.com booking people like Rollins in the first place?
BROWN: What do you say to someone who would ask, where is the sense of humanity? Why are you going to the Supreme Court to fight against SNAP payments?

BROOKE ROLLINS: Oh, Pamela. I mean, really?

And let's not forget there's enough of these guys out there to fuel a concerted "Repeal the 19th" effort.
This is who Donald Trump nominated to be Attorney General of the United States

Whatever other shit he's getting away with because of SCOTUS, this clearly doesn't fall within his duties as president.
Trump’s pressure campaign to get GOP signatures off the Epstein discharge petition is more than telling.

Every House Republican is going to face a simple choice: Do you stand with victims and insist on full accountability, or do you stand with Trump and help him hide whatever is in these files?

When are the Dems going to pick up reforming eldercare/longterm care as an issue?

Because the only person I see talking about it is @davidhogg.bsky.social and it's a real issue for everyone — whether blue or red — in this country.
November 13, 2025 at 5:02 PM
I would love to think that there was some grand masterplan for the 8 Dems to cave so that the House would be called back and this Epstein stuff could come out with no blowback to Dems who weren't retiring.

But I know the Dems don't think like that.

I cannot take credit for it, but my SIL just asked me a really good question:

Where's Dan Bongino?!?

As far as those e-mails go, I find it incredibly disturbing that all the people who knew him best knew T**** was insane and dangerous at least back to 2018, and likelier before that.

And they inflicted him on all of us, and the entire world.
November 13, 2025 at 1:17 PM
Oh, he's going to go down in history, all right.
Kristi Noem: "It's remarkable what President Trump has done. It's because he's a great leader, he's a visionary, and this man is going to go down in history as our greatest president ever."

Somewhere along the line, someone told him to use the phrase "national security" to excuse anything and everything.

Son, it don't work that way.
So he’s saying all the tariff money we took in is gone and we won’t be able to pay it back. There was always a possibility he could lose this lawsuit and have to refund the tariff money. We didn’t prepare for that possibility? He’s running the govt like he ran his casinos.

& also like during covid, Trump is fundamentally not capable of solving the current affordability crisis specifically bc Trumps idea of solving a problem is bullshitting ppl to their faces & saying its fixed. Actually fixing a problem is not in his tool set. All he knows how to do is lie on camera.
During Trump I, Trump was largely fine re: economic sentiment right until the point where the president actually needed to do stuff--ie the pandemic happened.

It will never not be crazy to me that America thought a guy infamous for driving businesses into the ground wouldnt do the same to us.
A related irony is that he inherited a strong economy from Obama and reaped all the credit with public sentiment for not touching it, then torched that credit in Term Two by actually making economic policy
