This is real. Our govt is Tweeting like a 14 year old and calling Americans imbecilic morons. We worry about children being bullied but this is the example set by the U.S. GOVERNMENT. This is so shameful. I’m embarrassed for any of you that think this is okay or make excuses for it.

Gandalf has a little red dino toy that the shelter we got him from gave him. Ever since he's been part of our family, he carries that thing around the house like it's his baby. If he leaves it somewhere, he often leaves it standing up. It's looking quite bedraggled. #DailyGandalf #catcanoe

In other news, I had a little meltdown this afternoon. Or, as my North Carolinian sister-in-law calls it, a "come apart." I'm tired of and angry about this shutdown and the fact that I haven't been paid in a month.

Working on another baby quilt. This one is for one of my high school bestie's new grandson. This particular bestie passed away in March, so she never got to meet him. I'm this little guy's honorary Nana & I'll love on him like I do my own grandkids.

At JFK waiting and waiting and waiting for our flight home. Looking at these A gates with all regional flights, the question isn't, "WHICH flights are delayed?" The question is: "Which flights AREN'T delayed?" Including ours.

Whoowee this Brussels Airport is NOT user friendly when it comes to returning a car rental and getting an Uber ride. Good thing we are returning the car the day before we fly.

I SHOPPED today in Gent! And I'm not done. There's a linen shop that wasn't open today that will be open tomorrow that I want to go into (smocked linen baby dresses for 45 euros!). Might have to buy another suitcase to bring stuff back in. I get 2 checked bags included with my airfare so why not?
