Obviously, the water made the chirper short circuit. I figure it'll eventually stop.

That brings us to today. He apparently went for a drink of water and dropped Dino into the water dish. It was sopping wet and I dried it off as best I could, but that chirper thing is now going off NONSTOP. Gandalf if carrying it around the house & whining, obviously wanting us to fix his baby.

Lately, we noticed that he'd bring it with him to eat, putting it in his dish and eating around it, then taking it with him again.

It has a little chirping noise it made whenever he played with it, but that stopped months ago. The chirper thing was dead, or so we thought.

Gandalf has a little red dino toy that the shelter we got him from gave him. Ever since he's been part of our family, he carries that thing around the house like it's his baby. If he leaves it somewhere, he often leaves it standing up. It's looking quite bedraggled. #DailyGandalf #catcanoe

Working on another baby quilt. This one is for one of my high school bestie's new grandson. This particular bestie passed away in March, so she never got to meet him. I'm this little guy's honorary Nana & I'll love on him like I do my own grandkids.

This praying mantis was big mad this morning at Gandalf's presence in the window, and spent a good 10 minutes posturing and trying to scare Gandalf off. It was quite entertaining!
