As artists it can feel like there's a pressure to make art faster, more generic, and marketable for a wide audience. Generating art is that idea to an extreme. I think we need to embrace niche art that has thought and care put into it. Not just for clients, but making something only for yourself.

Just because I'm the writer/director of TADC doesn't mean I deserve all the credit for everything. There MANY times when a board artist or an animator will come up with a detail or shot that elevate the themes/characterization in a way I didn't even think of, and I'm like "fuuuuuck that's genius..."

Had a tiny glimmer of hope yesterday night when I finally managed to turn it on again, but it was at 1% battery, so left it plugged in all night and.... Never went above that 🥲
Welp, my phone died
Every Samsung phone I've owned has ended its functional lifespan by just dying out of nowhere without previous indication that anything was wrong, and today the curse has stricken again :[
Fortunately I have a backup device, but it's quite old and sluggish, so still kinda sucks

There’s no in between for me: I either speak too plain and literally or I end up saying something entirely different to what I intended (or even not saying anything at all) if I attempt to ever so slightly “spice up” my words to sound like a normal person. And I hate it.
