In the past few hours, his village has been under violent attack by Israeli settlers emboldened by Trump's removal of sanctions on settlers who terrorize Palestinians daily. This is apartheid. Let's hope the Oscar nomination will mobilize people to do more than just watch a film 2/2

I must say, if the symbol of the watermelon has become so ubiquitous with Palestinian resistance that police are stopping people for it around the world & associating it with the movement, this is quite an accomplishment!
