In either case I also think it's totally nuts that John Stuart Mill is taught in classes around the country without the all important context that he literally arrived at these ideas while working in the expression control apparatus of British rule in India

Early in my career, I had a graduate student with cerebral palsey wheelchair bound. We scheduled a 1st meeting to which she was 40 min late. When she arrived, she described being stuck in a broken sidewalk area unmarked > 30 min while no one would help her get out. She apologized for being late.

We see this all the time in healthcare when politicians tell us how the nhs does things or their mba told them to do things …the director generals are servants to masters who are very qualified… but often in other fields that don’t translate into the complexities if healthcare
