We won't have any idea what Ford and his oligarchy have actually done to us for 50 years...
Buried in the Doug Ford govt's fall budget are changes that would remove parts of Wasaga beach from provincial protection. As I reported in August, those parts are 60% of the world’s longest freshwater beach and the main nesting area for the endangered piping plover: thenarwhal.ca/wasaga-beach...

Solar’s price drop is astonishing: panels are now 98% cheaper than when I first analyzed them in 2004.

Today, building a fence with solar can be cheaper than using wood.

SEATTLE!!!

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

What was the damn point of the shutdown? People missed paychecks, families went without SNAP, and Democrats walked away with nothing.

This isn’t about moderates versus the far left. It’s about who’s actually fighting for people who are struggling.

She nails where so many of us are right now.

What’s up? A vision of where we’ll be if Reform ever gained power in the UK. No BBC and no NHS and a further massive redistribution of wealth from the workers to the already obscenely rich.

My Senator, #JonOssoff, is up for reelection in ‘26. His seat is considered the most vulnerable. He just voted “No” on the CR bill, perhaps risking his political future.

The kind of courage and selflessness we’d need more of in the Democratic Party.

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

My hot take is that every Senator who voted against healthcare should lose their cushy government healthcare.

Schumer should lose his healthcare.

Let these folks experience the terror they’re inflicting on their constituents to remind them what they’re fighting for.
