Please contact your Senators about this now, today. They need to hear from all of us that this is unacceptable.
Get onto your reps about this, trans allies. They need to hear more than the anger and fear of just trans folks on this. More than 150k of them are receiving gender-affirming care with Medicaid, now being ripped away.
This is a really good breakdown of what happened last night with Republicans changing the budget bill to ban adult trans care in Medicaid.

I would like to speak up today for the trans community.
You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1
