Replace Chuck Schumer with Cory Booker.

That’s it.

That’s the skeet.

If not now, when? Desperate times. Stayed up last night watching this and went to bed before midnight. Woke up this morning amazed that he’s still going. Thank you!
18 hours and 45 minutes in, and Cory Booker is still going strong! 🔥

Dem response tonight should be, “it’s not possible to lie more, nor is it possible to defile the sanctity of the #SOTU any more that Donald Trump did tonight. Our democracy is in crisis. Fight this ideology at all costs. Do not kneel to the tyrant or kiss the ring. “

And that’s all. Mic drop

Ok for me, but not for thee is the MAGA mantra.
I prefer, “there, but for the grace of God, go I”

Rule of thumb: subtract your age from 100 to determine how many pages an author has to capture you. It’s okay to move on. Life is too short
You’re not violating a reading rule if you opt not to finish a book that's not resonating with you. Life is finite and we thus have a finite number of books to read. Reading shouldn’t be a chore. You needn’t feel guilty for ensuring that your time reading is spent reading things that you love.

Pair that with cockwomble kakistocracy & I think I have my new fantasy football team name. 🤔
Word of the day is ‘sequaciousness’ (16th century): the slavish and reckless following of another person in matters of thought or opinion.

Wow! A number of years ago I read Finn by John Clinch, a unique take on Huckleberry Finn as told from the perspective of Huck’s father (spoiler alert: he’s a bad dude). This one deep dives into Jim’s character and experiences. So glad this was recommended to me. Happy reading!

Love thy neighbor. Care for the poor. Share. Walk the walk.
Imagining time travel tourists walking around Nazareth in 33AD asking for a “Jesus” and people going “well there’s an interesting guy named Yeshua Bar Yosef who seems to be causing quite a stir” and the tourists wrinkling their noses and going, “No, sorry, we’re looking for someone less… ethnic.”
