I have seen the stage production of Wicked 50+ times, so to say I was hesitant about the transition to film is an understatement.
My thoughts on the film after seeing it: 10/10.
Side note - I would not consider myself a fan of most of the cast, but they were the right casting choices for this film.

The one thing that has not changed and has likely become ever more enjoyable is the bold aroma & flavor of a cup of coffee and the warmth I feel with my hand wrapped around the mug. It elicits an audible "Ahhhhh.." every time.
