#StopOxevision

NSUN is making the following demands, including calling on all trusts using Oxevision to suspend use immediately on the basis of safety and ethics concerns.

Do you have a response @combinednhs.bsky.social North Staffordshire Combined NHS trust and Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership?

There is a bit more in this document too, basically saying "Oxevision is expensive so to install it we'll have to cut staff" - this all discusses the business case, North Staffordshire @combinednhs.bsky.social did go on to install Oxevision and continue to use it drive.google.com/file/d/1epP1...

NSCH @combinednhs.bsky.social refer to Coventry and Warwickshire partnership and the savings they in turn apparently made by using Oxevision for conducting remote patient observations.

Both savings on bank staff by using Oxevision instead of 1:1 observations +reducing the minimum staffing numbers

I didn't name the trust before as I was only 90% sure I had correctly remembered. I took my oath extremely seriously and found it immensely stressful in case I made mistakes. Is that autistic literal thinking, moral integrity, awareness of perjury law?

It's so stressful that I'm the picture, I really hope people don't see the headline, not click the link and think it's me admitting to "possibly misusing" creepy cameras in people's bedrooms 😬

Exhibit A (anyone remember what EPUT said yesterday about Oxevision not replacing in person observations and oxehealth not using EPUT materials to sell their product?)

@nhsconfed.org do you feel comfortable with your ongoing roll in promoting, and essentially endorsing, a technology that is currently a key consideration in a public inquiry investigating the deaths of patients under mental health services?

*Associates* pay for membership, about ~ £5000 yearly.
