I was surprised to learn that inmates in American prisons are involved in producing newspapers. Prison journalism is a meaningful activity—it helps improve literacy, fosters empathy, and offers a constructive outlet. I deeply respect this project.

I was surprised to learn that inmates in American prisons are involved in producing newspapers. Prison journalism is a meaningful activity—it helps improve literacy, fosters empathy, and offers a constructive outlet. I deeply respect this project.
