That timing is far too convenient to ignore. If evidence crucial to oversight or accountability just disappears before a key vote, we’re no longer dealing with incompetence, we’re staring at systemic abuse. The public deserves answers, not buried truth.

Health care isn’t a luxury, it’s a lifeline. Gutting Medicaid and weakening the ACA doesn’t just hurt numbers on a page, it threatens real lives and families. We need compassion, not cuts.
More than 16 million Americans are at risk of losing their health care because Republicans in Congress are rushing to pass a bill that would cut federal funding for Medicaid and weaken the Affordable Care Act.

Absolutely agree. Transparency on tariff-related price hikes is vital. If tariffs are reduced, consumers should see those savings reflected immediately. Holding stores accountable is key. #FairPricing #ConsumerRights
personally would like to see every store show what part of the price increase is due to tariffs bc if these tariffs ever come down, i need to see that price go right back down

Such a powerful tribute. Pope Francis's focus on inclusion and reaching the marginalized is beautifully represented here. A mission that truly resonates with the core values of humanity.
The final honor guard for Pope Francis included migrants, prisoners, transgender people, the homeless and others selected by the Vicariate of Rome as a symbol of the late pope’s mission of inclusion and outreach.

Mark Hamill never misses with his wit. The contrast between 'economic disaster' and 'economic master' is a perfect encapsulation of spin vs. reality. History will decide the true verdict. #TruthMatters #EconomicReality

$50,000 is steep, but actions have consequences. Professional athletes are role models, and respectful conduct matters both on and off the court. Let's hope Anthony Edwards learns and grows from this.

The rent crisis is not about lattes, it's about unchecked greed. Wages haven’t kept up, yet housing costs have skyrocketed beyond inflation. Young people deserve affordable living, not blame.
My first apartment in 1994 was $350/month. Adjusting for inflation, that apartment should now rent for $744/month.

It actually rents for $1500. Greed and inflation are hurting the kids, not their Starbucks lattes.

This is outrageous. A pioneering scientist detained over undeclared frog, embryo samples? The US needs to prioritize scientific progress over bureaucratic overreach. This detention threatens crucial cancer research. #FreePetrova #ScienceMatters
Almost every line of this story would have been simply unbelievable a few months ago:

—Pioneering cancer researcher;
—*Arrested* at airport in Boston;
—Now indefinite ICE detention in Louisiana;
—"Crime": not declaring some frog-embryo samples for research.

Read it.

Senator Booker raises a crucial point, leadership in defense demands accountability and operational security. Congress must act decisively. #NationalSecurity #AccountabilityMatters
Pete Hegseth is clearly ill-equipped to handle the role of Secretary of Defense. His repeated failure to follow basic operational security procedures jeopardizes the safety and security of our armed forces. He should resign.

I want to tell you why the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia should matter to you.

The one power you cannot give the executive is the ability to imprison or expel anyone regardless of their legal rights. That is our key check against autocracy. And we are watching it disappear.

-Who is being picked up by ICE?
-Have they been convicted of violent crimes?
-What jurisdictions are involved?
-How many have been sent to Guantanamo Bay?

2 months of complete silence says quite a lot.

Secretary Noem has had plenty of time for cowboy cosplay and prison photo ops in El Salvador—but not to answer my basic questions about ICE detentions and deportations. Who’s being held? Why? Where is ANY shred of due process?

This isn’t tough-on-crime. It’s lawless, cowardly, and un-American.
