Have you checked 'prefer app delivery' in settings? If you do that and also switch off notifications from the app you should get no notifications or emails.

I've done it. Went for a refurb iphone 13 mini. Here it is next to my massive 6.5 inch Samsung. A thing of beauty. Wish me luck with the android to IoS migration.
