For #WorldTheatreDay, here's something I wrote a while ago.

Recently had an interview not go my way, which is fine, but I did *so* much work & thinking in prep that I can't let go of. So, if any theatres are interested in evolving from being allies to accomplices & want to discuss researching & embedding ethical systems for authentic theatre-making: HELLO!

In London and fresh out of a meeting with the two excellent production houses who are working on making the TV show I'm writing. And it's not raining! And I'm off to meet my love for coffee! A really joyful pinch me moment, in amongst all the really horrifying pinch me moments we must fight against.

Last day of 10 Times Beautiful rehearsals before the show goes up tomorrow. In just two weeks, this company has brought to life a whole play feat. dance, music, and singing (much of which is in a language new to them) with creativity, talent, and love. They are amazing. I'm proud of them.

It feels wild and huge, knowing that people are taking time out of their lives to buy tickets with hard earned cash, to get washed and dressed and organise travel to see a play I wrote when I was lying in bed, thinking I was dying. My first little play. Who'da thought it. I hope I get to write more.
