Assistant to Toddler Soren. Fried chicken aficionado. Opinions here are my own.
This is a great example of local journalism shining a light on shenanigans happening within a City Council. I wish that we have more funding to hire more local reporters.

At least one of these candidates (Darcy Schoening) have openly said that they want to set Tina Peters free. Can you add that information to the article so that voters know which candidates believe in the baseless election conspiracy theories?

I'm proud to have been part of the abridged reading of trial transcripts and personal accounts that tell the story of the Heart Mountain Draft Resisters. This Community Conversation was presented by CO Dragon Film Festival and Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado. (2/2)

What are you talking about? I'm seeing pushback from multiple sectors. Over 100 lawsuits have been filed to stop the EO. Numerous Know Your Rights trainings have been provided to our community

In 2017, a State Rep gave a speech in the Capitol defending the incarceration of Japanese community during World War 2. Today, a group of Senators forcefully repudiated that and condemned any plan to use the Alien Enemies Act to perpetrate further act of cruelty and injustices.

History repeats itself. We cannot stay silent while the Trump Administration is reusing the Alien Enemies Act to round up and incarcerate immigrant and refugee communities, much like how the exact same law was used to round up and incarcerate the Japanese community during World War 2.

You have my sympathy. My wife and I have been sick since last week with whatever latest germs that our toddler brought home from daycare.

My work is directly related to supporting my local community and pushing back against fear and disinformation. It is exhausting, but it is never more important than now.

Absolute betrayal of our country. A mockery of our justice system. I now laugh any time a Republican says that their party is the party of law and order.

Thank you for standing with the immigrant and refugee communities

Agreed. I also consider pardoning Jan 6th terrorists to be high crimes and treasons.

Yep! I appreciate his willingness to call out shenanigans committed by elected officials, regardless of their party affiliations.

That's our local reporter @kylec.bsky.social. He is an awesome reporter, and he also raised so much money for local charities! Definitely give him a follow.
