I had wondered if you read Dark Eden @aptshadow.bsky.social. Such a great, quirky book that grows on you, almost literally. Another dark book you might like is The girl with all the gifts.

Much prefer this platform to X, will have to invest a little more time into it. Hopefully it continues to gain traction.

Anyone else read more than one book at a time? Could be an ADHD thing but I do find switching between fiction and non-fiction good. Although right now I have 3 on the go which is suboptimal and I'll probably forget half of what's happening in all of them...

Moved to Portugal 4 years ago and this was the only fiction book I took with me amongst thousands left behind (including Bank's Culture collection!)
