Melbourne's population is projected to exceed 9 million by 2050 and this bloke, who wants to be the leader of our state, is still complaining that there's too many bike lanes in the city. Do better.

Safer speeds save lives, but they need to be enforced by road safety cameras and police, otherwise you still see lots of this behaviour in a 30km/h speed zone.

Here’s hoping politicians look at the facts rather than making comments saying that safe protected bike lanes are “derogatory” and “diminishing” towards women as Cr Aston did this week.

Forget safety and design guidelines, apparently using your arms' width is how you assess the safety of bike lanes. Yeah, right ok.
