Through FOIA requests, we found that local police were performing lookups for ICE in Flock's nationwide network of cameras, and that a cop in Texas searched the country for a woman who self-administered an abortion.

Flock's automatic license plate reader (ALPR) cameras are in more than 5,000 communities around the U.S. Local police are doing lookups in the nationwide system for ICE.

the narrative of QT+ people as vulnerable reflects so many unnecessarily brutal realties that have been enacted on us for, truly, no good reason at all. which makes it so frustrating when the (seemingly few) prominent dems who actually understand the importance of projecting strength and power

TL;DR, the current CR doesn't have any risks to gender-affirming care. But the upcoming spending fight will and it's important to differentiate between the two, especially when it's information for a vulnerable population. Our job should be to seek truth and report it and minimize harm.
