Personally, if I was a south American movie pirate I would invest in a slightly better add-on microphone for my camcorder. Quality is so-so for video but I'll live. Audio on the built-in mic is terrible.

For a $90 part (lmao) and an hour of futzing around after work not only does my oven work again, it works twice as good as it did when I moved in.

I also learned that low tech ovens like mine have a basic safety interlock where the gas valve opens and closes depending on the resistance it reads from the igniter, so it doesn't run pump raw gas over a cold ignition. This means that replacing the igniter makes it heat up WAY faster than before.

Back before DLC, Kojima had to put Ground Zeroes on the disc FOR FREE and we had the balls to complain about it being a bait and switch.

You can make an argument for any mainline Metal Gear being your favorite except 4 and I'd be willing to listen. 1 has its merits, but if someone wants to know "what's the deal with Metal Gear Solid", I'm handing them the Tanker Chapter and the rest should take care of itself.

In terms of feel, MGS2 is everything I wanted from the first game. I started up 2 the minute I finished 1, and going from the Rex fight to the Tanker Chapter feels like you took off three layers of clothing. MGS2 is buttery smooth and beautiful. It runs at 60fps, ON PS2! Incredible piece of work.
