It actually kinda sucks that's hard to find camrips now. I got one accidentally for the first time in years. There's nothing like someone walking in from of the screen and the cameraman opening a drink or bag of snacks within inches of the microphone.

Replaced the igniter in the oven, and it actually turned out to the problem, fixing an appliance on the first try for once.I didn't have much confidence in my diagnosis until the new igniter from the appliance store read correctly on the multimeter and the old one didn't.

New tech unlocked: silicone basting brush used to oil the waffle iron with an even and thin coat.

Playing games that will actually push my PC visually usually means watching the CPU temp climb up past 95C in the Core Temp window on my other monitor, and I know newer CPUs are thermal throttled and are "designed for", these temp ranges but holy shit it makes me uncomfortable every time.

Buying a 1440p monitor was a huge mistake. Active gameplay and videos/movies scaled for it look incredible, but 95% of all video that exists is rendered down for 1080p and looks like watching a DVD copy of a movie on an HD display.

Not going to spoil anything, but it would be very funny and on-brand if Zagreus' only involvement with the plot of Hades 2 is it being his fault it's happening. I'm not far enough in to tell if that's what they're signalling, but it fits what I know so far.

Marc's is a great store because it's one of the few remaining places where guys in their mid-20s who dress like stage magicians can still find stable employment

Can we not do Christmas gifts this year? The United States government has placed my country under brutal economic sanctions and I don't think I can make room in the "eating stuff I found in the woods instead of groceries" budget.

Been playing through MGS1 on original hardware and it's charming despite showing its age in a million ways. But man that Sniper Wolf fight by itself is enough reason to want a remake. A sniper duel in what amounts to a Resident Evil 1 control scheme is really something.
