Growing up in essentially all-white rural Iowa, this movie was a huge eye opener for middle-schooler me. It was hilarious and tragic. It's also sad that a lot of what is in here is still probably true in a lot of movie/tv production.
The Brat Pack begat nothing, Hollywood Shuffle laid the foundation for about 35 years of pop culture. And all because SNL wouldn't have two black guys in the cast at once in the early 80s (just Eddie Murphy, no Robert Townsend).
