Also I see you've already gotten a couple roasted/baked veggie recipes already, but if you can get your hands on daikon, it makes a nice change from some of the more traditional fall veggie dishes. veggielution.org/recipes/2015...

More of a dessert than a side dish... but this bread is awesome! The recipe as written isn't vegan, but I substituted 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce for each egg, and doubled the amount of baking powder, and it came out great.

Cinnamon Apple Bread
Easy to assemble and terrifically fragrant as it bakes, this cinnamon-rich apple bread is a family recipe of professional cake baker Maggie Austin LaBaugh.

And the patterns! It was symbolic genius to give that one gown a malachite pattern. A natural motif, befitting her--but malachite is also toxic when ingested, as is arsenic (which would have been used at the time to get that green color.) Already the poison is in her veins; her fate is sealed.

I've been to the castle kitchens in Tubingen where his work took place! It's an extremely cool place, especially because I had no idea of the history before stumbling upon it (we were visiting the museum to see the Paleolithic artifacts.)

I saw it too! The beauty of the intricate beadwork, and the stories behind it, actually had me in tears. So much suffering over the centuries, brought to light under the microscope and woven into glittering reminders... she's a fantastic artist.

I agree it's a little confusing snd could have been more clearly explained, but at timestamp 2:58, they do mention that the brown dwarf topic is a composite of their experiences with AI over several different projects.

They did mention at the start of the video that "brown dwarfs" was a fake topic they made up for the sake of illustrating the problem for this video, so the AI video was actually likely about something else.

I recently stopped owning rats for the same reason. There is grief enough in the world outside; to have it twisting my heart in my home so often got to be too much.

When you are ready, when the tide finally turns and the future brightens, there can be rats again. They will outlast us all.
